With over 20 years of experience in mental health and a background in psychology, our founder recognised that traditional counselling isn’t for everyone. Whether it’s anxiety about opening up, financial barriers, or the overwhelm of navigating appointments, many people are left without the tools they need.

Counsel Yourself was created to change that. We make the core principles of counselling and psychology easy to understand, practical to apply, and genuinely useful. Our monthly guides are designed to help you tackle real challenges at your own pace — whether you follow the full series or choose the topics that matter most to you. This is about learning to support yourself, with clarity, confidence, and compassion. We believe that mental wellbeing should be in everyone’s hands — and with the right tools, it can be.
